The ear of corn is an ancient symbol of rebirth, hope and the future. The ear of corn necklace is made by hand carving a wax model and then making a plaster cast in which the molten metal is poured. The Spiga necklace is made with one to five yellow bronze spikes. Each piece of jewelry is entirely handmade in Italy by Giulia Tamburini. Small variations from the photos are considered a guarantee of craftsmanship

Giulia Tamburini is the designer of her own Milan-based brand. From the abysses to the forests, passing through the Florentine goldsmith tradition, her jewels tell about nature and the reality that surrounds us. Craftsmanship has been the key to the great success of the brand: conception, design and production of every single jewel are followed in an extremely meticulous way. She works on gold, silver and bronze completely by hand, without any kind of industrial aid, and respecting the classic tradition of classic Italian artisan goldsmithing.
