Anna Laura Hoefer is the founder of Ripa Ripa, a brand based in Milan. Inspired by the aesthetics of Mediterranean in the 1960s, her classic drawstring swimsuits are designed for a tailored cut, with an eye for Italian sartorial details. Redesigning the classic swimsuit, their shorts become wider towards the leg opening, giving it a droopy pear shape. And, by increasing the inseam and slightly reducing the leg circumference, they’re giving swim shorts a straight and elegant fit. Linen shirts are designed revisiting the vintage cut from the 1960s, such as the Capri collar which has famously been worn by Gianni Agnelli during his summers in south Italy.
