The turtle is an animal that represents tenacity, resilience, strength and longevity. It is considered a wise creature and among those who can defend themselves best, because of its carapace that serves as a shield against the attack of predators.
This animal is revered in many cultures, many legends have it as a protagonist. In Mongolia, the tortoise is the symbol of eternity and that is why the great emperors were depicted next to them. Even today, it is believed that if a turtle is sighted in a boat, it will bring good luck. Do you know that it is very difficult to understand the age of a turtle? Surely you have to count the rings on its shell (it forms about two a year!) and all the lines inside... but it will always remain a mystery especially after 15 years of age, when the rings are closer and closer!

Carolina Ravarini is the founder of her own Milan-based jewelry brand. An inclusive design for a collection that focuses on the combination of animal and plant world, positive symbolism and the self. Her creative process begins in Carolina Ravarini's studio in Milan, where she works on each creation with great care, starting from the first sketch, through the selection of materials and the development of the final samples of each piece of jewelry. The pieces created with the "rosary" technique are worked in Milan, using copper wire and pliers. Those created from lost wax, on the other hand, follow a procedure that is waiting to be discovered.
