This Friulana model features a pointed toe and open heel, and is handmade from precious orange cotton and viscose. The shoes come with a typical stitched rubber sole for added durability.
The Friulane shoes originated from the mountains of Carnia and quickly became popular in Venice for their practicality and originality. Gondoliers were the first to wear them, being careful not to damage the precious lacquer of their gondolas. Later, Venetian lords adopted them as a daily fashion statement.
The exclusive product is made entirely in Italy and is crafted with a garnet-colored cotton-silk embossed velvet. The shoes have a regular European fit, but are less suitable for those with wide plant feet. They also come in limited edition.
