Inspiration: the beautiful Lola who made young Turiddu fall madly in love with her, but in his absence left and agreed to marry Alfio, a rich carter. This aroused the wrath and jealousy of Turiddu who tried to get her back (from the novel by Giovanni Verga, "Cavalleria Rusticana").
Claudia carefully selects the materials and production methods for every single piece of the Emmy Boo brand.

Claudia Antichi is the founder of the Catania-based brand Emmy Boo. Color palettes and design come together to create versatile and trans-seasonal collections to be worn from day to evening. In order to avoid waste, she cuts her patches individually with a handmade die-cut of our own design. Then, she goes with hand painting to embellish the product and make it even more unique. The painting techniques applied to the patches are many: watercolor, stencil, color spots, up to real works of art that require many stages of processing.
We donate 1% of our proceeds to Fashion Revolution, which like us strive to promote transparent and ethical brands. We want to actively contribute to making fashion more ethical and sustainable. Instead of making people feel guilty, we help them recognize that they have the power to make positive change. We love fashion. But we don't want our clothes to exploit people or destroy our planet.
