The "Palermo" ring represents the leaves of gingko biloba, a plant born in Asia and present in Europe since 1700. Historically, gingko biloba symbolizes strength and the ability to get back up after the most difficult situations.
Ginkgo symbolizes strength, resilience and capacity to adapt and overcome difficulties. For these properties it is a symbol of the city of Tokyo: it is said that after the fall of the Hiroshima bomb and the destruction it brought, a gingko tree apparently dead was reborn, thanks to the resistance of this species to atmospheric pollution, thus becoming a symbol of hope and rebirth.
The gingko we know is the only surviving species of the prehistoric flora of over 250 million years ago! There were in fact at least 15 species of this plant, but only the current one has survived the ice age and time; thanks to its immunity to parasitic attacks and its resistance to atmospheric pollution.

Carolina Ravarini is the founder of her own Milan-based jewelry brand. An inclusive design for a collection that focuses on the combination of animal and plant world, positive symbolism and the self. Her creative process begins in Carolina Ravarini's studio in Milan, where she works on each creation with great care, starting from the first sketch, through the selection of materials and the development of the final samples of each piece of jewelry. The pieces created with the "rosary" technique are worked in Milan, using copper wire and pliers. Those created from lost wax, on the other hand, follow a procedure that is waiting to be discovered.
We donate 1% of our proceeds to Fashion Revolution, which like us strive to promote transparent and ethical brands. We want to actively contribute to making fashion more ethical and sustainable. Instead of making people feel guilty, we help them recognize that they have the power to make positive change. We love fashion. But we don't want our clothes to exploit people or destroy our planet.
