One of the traditional shape from Farben’s archive. A Butterfly form with a vintage allure: hyper feminine, elegant and naughty, certainly does not go unnoticed. A collection that highlights all the artisan DNA of Farben, reconnecting us to our origins. The Grezzo collection is entirely made of 8 mm Mazzucchelli cellulose acetate, thick, tumbled and polished by hand. No superfluous elements: the processing of this series, deliberately reduced to a minimum, aims to return to the touch and to the view sharp edges and lines, able to bring out the essential purity of each model.
Handmade, one by one, with a zero-emission production cycle and short supply chain, Farben glasses respect the environment in which they are created.

It was 1962 when Giordano Frescura, his wife Adolfa, and their brother Carlo decided to open an eyewear store in the town where they were born. It was a small family-run store on the ground floor of their home. They call it Farben. Every model has a story to tell, sometimes more than one. It tells of the craftsman who created it, who chose its shape and materials. Each pair of their glasses is handcrafted through more than forty processes. A unique piece, made with passion by skilled and experienced hands. One by one. Today, as 60 years ago, their production process takes more than 10 weeks.
