How was the laurel born according to myth? From an unrequited love! Apollo, Greek god of the sun, fell in love with Daphne, who did not reciprocate. One day, seeing her on Mount Parnassus, he approached her, making her run away and chasing her. Daphne invoked the help of Gaea, goddess of the earth, who transformed her into a laurel tree. In order to keep her always close to herself, she became the sacred plant to Apollo and its branches were later used to crown the heads of the winners. A custom that has come down to us!

Carolina Ravarini is the founder of her own Milan-based jewelry brand. An inclusive design for a collection that focuses on the combination of animal and plant world, positive symbolism and the self. Her creative process begins in Carolina Ravarini's studio in Milan, where she works on each creation with great care, starting from the first sketch, through the selection of materials and the development of the final samples of each piece of jewelry. The pieces created with the "rosary" technique are worked in Milan, using copper wire and pliers. Those created from lost wax, on the other hand, follow a procedure that is waiting to be discovered.
