About the materials
Each Y'AM Capri garment is carefully designed, conceived and produced on the island and on the Amalfi coast, preserving and supporting the craftsmanship and sartorial tradition of these places and using artisanal techniques such as embroidery and hand printing. The sartorial DNA and the attention to details of workmanship make every single creation unique. Y’AM Capri values the work and savoir-faire of its artisans and supports them in a process of mutual sustainable growth.
Sharing a moment
"Y'AM" comes from the Neapolitan dialect expression "Jamm ja", which means "let's go" in Italian. "I am Capri" expresses a sense of belonging among potential consumers; Yam (also Yamm) was also the god of the sea in the Canaanite religion, who became popular in ancient Egyptian times.
