Jewellery designer Chiara Costacurta was born in Treviso, Italy. She studied Economics at University, but after she decided to start transforming simple stones to bijoux for her friends. This lead to her enrollment in the GIA in London, to further become a jewelry designer. Encouraged by a famous Milanese jeweller she founded Chiara Costacurta Jewelry in 2011.
She immediately started with a small bijoux collection involving gold and diamonds. Chiara’s first hit was the “Flowers and Leaves “; a single earring realised in rose gold and diamonds delicately emphasising the outline of the ear. Her take on the simple diamond earring helped Chiara’s understanding of what women wanted to wear and incentivizing her to create new ways to wear jewelry. From here rose the success of her “Butterflies”, produced in both gold or silver and hand painted in Italy. Collaborators and suppliers are italian companies and craftsmen, as the creations are handmade in Italy.
